THE JAZZ CONFUSION POWER HOUR

Jazz has all but disappeared from radio. But not SORC®TVRadio Network, WTSN Washington DC , SORC plays jazz “confusion” 24/7. A rich history rooted in the Black experience, jazz has crossed over to just about every music genre including Gospel, Rock, Reggae, R&B, Country to name a few--we call this, Jazz Confusion.

 
The Jazz Confusion Power Hour is a tribute to this tradition. SORC®TVRadio will feature some of the most interesting new and old jazz musicians everywhere. We will kick off the series with one of the great Jazz crossover bands of the last quarter century, Acoustic Alchemy. Acoustic Alchemy just released their 20th album 331/3 the number of years the band has been performing and recording. We will also feature Maysa, a national treasure, Jets, an all-star tribute band to the retiring Elton John, and the legendary Billy Ocean. More to follow and you will always be entertained, get your feet moving and your head bopping. So, tune in every Thursday at 7:00 PM Eastern Savings Time to hear some of your favorite jazz artists, a few surprises that will please your ears, and you’ll find some new artists you add to your playlist.
