Ronya-Lee LaVaune Anderson, known professionally as Ronya-Lee of Ronya-Lee and the Light Factory, is a Caribbean-American folk-soul singer-songwriter from Washington, DC.

The ukulele-playing fem-crooner fuses folk, soul, and rock with underlying strokes of psychedelia dazzlingly displayed on her forthcoming debut EP, “THE LIGHT SESSIONS” and highlighted by her first single “Runaway (What Are You Waiting For)".

Born from Jamaican immigrants, she spent most of her formative years in the suburbs of the nation's capital cultivating a career as a dancer/choreographer and performance artist. Ronya-Lee’s interdisciplinary work has most recently been commissioned by Duke University (NC), the Maryland State Arts Council, Aunt Karen’s Farm (NY) and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She is a 2022-24 Artist In Residence at Dance Place in Washington, DC.
