Foundationally inspired by Proverbs 27:7 which says, “A satisfied soul loathes the honeycomb, but to a hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.” dee offers satisfying music that is so often missing from today’s musical landscape. His second single "Natural Love" received lots of radio air play with multiple chart positioning with a solid spot in the top 15 on the Groove Jazz chart. His third single, I'm Here for you (I'll never leave you) was well received and is in the top 100 Smooth Jazz single of 2015. If that's not enough, he ended 2015 on a high note by releasing an original Christmas song, entitled "It's Christmas" written and performed by his late fiancé Shaunia Edwards, Valdez Brantley and dee Brown.

Brown is also known for his invigorating single, “True Reality” from his second album. “A Little Elbow Room” which was co-written by Brown, Nate Harasim, Dezie McCullers Jr. and features Darren Rahn on sax. “A Little Elbow Room” was inspired by his late father, George (Sonny) Brown. dee dedicated the release as a tribute to the man who was responsible for his emergence into the music industry. “If it wasn’t for my dad introducing me to jazz, “I would never have found my true love and passion,” says dee.
