Jo Anne Scaife was born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, a major tourist town known for its extravagant beaches and resorts. She grew up in a single family home embracing the strong commitment taught by her father, well known musician in the Mellowtone Gospel singers, to reach your highest potential in life. JoAnn was known for her presence in over 6 major beauty pageants where she won the title crown of Miss Black Okaloosa County, contestant in Miss Teen World representing FL, contestant in Miss Black Florida and more. She is most known now for her history making achievement of the first African American and female to graduate from Belmont University in Nashville, TN in 1994 with Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in Religion.
Jo Anne has been in the ministry for twenty-plus years studying, teaching, and leading others to understand the Word of God daily. Presently is the Founder and CEO of a non-profit called Restoration Corner Ministry (Collegiate Ministry) and of Living Single in Faith singles annual retreat. Jo Anne is a survivor of cancer—three times. She is a very diverse business woman holding multi-facet certified skills, such as certified product manager, collegiate minister, publisher, singer/songwriter, and speaker. She is a highly sought after inspirational speaker and seminar leader for religious, business, universities, and civic institutions. Now adding to her list, author. JoAnn now resides in Nashville, TN pursuing her ministerial education at Central Baptist Theological Seminary, rewarded scholarship position for the Women Leadership Initiative Program.
