Nardia

Nardia Brancatisano, is an Australian-born singer-songwriter of Filipino and Italian heritage, born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. Music has been part of her life from a very young age, and growing up within two strong cultures had a significant influence on who I became, both personally and creatively. Her music today brings together soul, R&B, blues, and jazz, with storytelling always at the heart of what Nardia does.

Her journey eventually brought me from Australia to the United States, but one of the biggest turning points came in January 2025, when she represented Australia at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Nardia reached the Top 5 finalists from hundreds of acts from around the world and was the only female artist to make the final. That experience completely changed the direction of her career and ultimately helped inspire her decision to pursue music in the United States.

In Memphis, she connected with producer Darin James and Grammy-winning producer Boo Mitchell, which led her to record at the legendary Royal Studios. Since then, she recorded music across Melbourne, Nashville, Memphis, and Los Angeles and had the opportunity to work with some incredible musicians along the way.

Her single “Is It You” reached #1 on the Urban Influencer Independent R&B/Soul Chart in the USA and received Grammy consideration in early 2026. She also had the privilege of supporting Marcus Miller in Las Vegas, performing at Buddy Guy’s Legends in Chicago, and touring extensively across the United States. In April 2026, she made the move from Australia to Los Angeles to continue building her career here in the U.S.

That journey has now led to her new album, Own Every Scar, released September 18, 2026. The album is probably my most personal body of work to date. At its heart, it is about resilience, self-acceptance, and learning not to hide the experiences that have shaped us. Our scars can represent pain, but they can also represent survival, growth, and everything we have overcome.

The album brings together the different musical worlds that have influenced Nardia throughout her life—soul, R&B, blues, and jazz—and features recordings made across Australia and the United States, including sessions at Royal Studios in Memphis with Boo Mitchell.
