Guitarist/Composer/Producer Terry Wollman’s 9th album Surface recently released is a unique global musical collaboration, and a true journey of songs and stories infused with gratitude and attitude. His latest offering which is on the 2024 GRAMMY ballot features artists Bob James, Najee, Ricky Kej, Andy Snitzer, Greg Manning, Wayne Bergeron and special guest vocalists Melanie Taylor, Connie Jackson and Ellis Hall. Terry says, “In so many ways, making this album has been a real awakening for me. An accomplished and versatile producer, composer, and musician, Terry has commanded such diverse projects touring, producing, recording and performing with renowned artists including Melissa Manchester, Keb’ Mo’, Joe Walsh, Tony Bennett, Dick Van Dyke, Alan Bergman with Dave Grusin, Mindi Abair, Wilson Phillips, Al Jarreau, Billy Preston, Gerald Albright, and Eartha Kitt, to name just a few. From producing the Emmy-nominated Alan & Marilyn Bergman and Dave Grusin song “Just Getting Started” to co-producing Melissa Manchester’s 20th album “You Gotta Love The Life” (with guest artists Stevie Wonder, Dionne Warwick, Al Jarreau, Dave Koz, Joe Sample), to producing music of all genres for Film and Television from Nickelodeon to Jazzercise to the Emmy Award-winning ABC documentary “Invisible Soldiers”.
